Holmwood School is now open. We will assess our situation every week. Most of the children are receiving their education through our Home Learning Pack. If you need additional packs please call 01642 819157.
If your child is eligible for Free School Meal and you would like a cold pack lunch - please call 01642 819 157 between 9 and 9:30 am during term time. I am very sorry but we would be unable to support calls after 9:30 am for lunches. We are not currently providing vouchers.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
Mr Dennis Ley
The Hardship Fund has been created to help our most vulnerable people and families.
Everyone who is of working age and currently in receipt of council tax support will get up to a further £150 reduction in their council tax bill. In some cases this will mean they do not pay anything in 2020/21. Eligible residents will be re-billed in early April to reflect the additional support offered.
Middlesbrough Council is going further than that: we’re extending our crisis payment scheme for those who have been impacted by Coronavirus, and who are waiting for entitlement for universal credit.
Universal credit is still the main benefit system for those who are out of work. But we know waiting to be approved can cause financial need and we are stepping in to provide support to those who are waiting for payments.
